Camden Chitwood, owner of Emerson Events was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She was married in May 2010 to her husband David. They reside in Oklahoma City with their cat, Twitch. Besides planning & designing events, Camden enjoys traveling, interior decorating, DIY projects and charity work. She serves on the board of directors as President of The Winds House, a local non-profit that provides supportive housing to people with HIV/AIDS. She’s also passionate about giving to and supporting local no-kill animal shelters and organizations. Camden was awarded as one of OKC Biz Magazine’s “40 Under 40″ for her work around the community and her achievements as a business owner. Though the studio is by appointment only, you can find her or one of her assistants working on flowers, crafting or planning during the week.
Camden has been in the wedding industry since 2006. Details are her specialty when it comes to floral design and details are key to plan a spectacular event. Design, wedding planning, event planning, flowers…whatever it may be, if you are looking for something special, you are in good hands.

Meet Heather Brown and Bailey Robinson, the other two ladies that make up Emerson Events.
Heather joined in April 2013 as an assistant planner. She was married in October of 2010 to her husband Barrett and they are the proud parents of their two dogs, Emma & Naya. Besides being a proud dog lover she is also a proud Aunt of 5! In her free time she loves to bake which means she has to love working out, traveling, flowers, Mexican food and also serving at Crossings Community Church in the youth department! She has served as a co-leader of high school junior ladies for the last two years. She will always be wearing a smile and her calm demeanor will make our clients relax and enjoy their special day!
Bailey joined in July 2013 as assistant floral designer and planner. She is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Public Relations and the proud aunt of an amazing nephew, Spencer. Bailey was a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity. Besides holding the title of Miss University of Oklahoma, she was a semifinalist at the Miss Oklahoma pageant where she was a preliminary swimsuit and talent winner! Her involvements with pageants did not end when she stopped competing as she is now the Director of Miss Del City’s Outstanding Teen Pageant. Baileys passion outside of planning events and creating beautiful floral designs is animals. She coordinated Norman’s “Strut for a Mutt” fashion show to raise money and awareness. She is looking forward to future involvement with the Bella Foundation in Oklahoma City and has recently joined the advisory board of The Winds House. She lives in Oklahoma City with her cat, Muggle. Bailey will swoon you with her laid back attitude and willingness to work hard.
